When two distinct identities meet, something unconventional takes shape. Jil Sander and Moncler join forces for a winter collection shaped by purity, texture, and climate—a capsule hybrid of Sander’s disciplined design aesthetic and Moncler’s astounding performance heritage.

The new collaboration introduces a fresh aesthetic to winter wear through contemporary shapes and silhouettes, and a distinctive color palette placed on natural textures. Jil Sander’s definitive design language finds its place in Moncler’s advanced winter insulation expertise. The two worlds, contrasting at times, become a kin—minimalist, austere architectural design is placed against plush, functional craftsmanship.

The collection presents a roundness to its silhouette drawn from the natural design of the great outdoors. Bulbous jackets, padded cardigans, and dome-shaped skirts mimic the wild, from rolling snow-blanketed hills to smooth pebbles and dense foliage. These same elements translate into the collaboration’s motif—a curvaceous silver-tone pin, placed on the crest of knits and jacket closures, which echoes the outline of the Moncler logo while carrying the restraint of the Jil Sander aesthetic.

Natural fibers—soft double wool, lightweight washed cotton twill, and a conditioned long-haired wool—tactilely canvas the season’s designs. Functionally, Moncler’s down-filled nylon lines plush cardigans and coats for enhanced protection from winter’s chill. Between the typically opposing layers, a new dialogue between protection and style emerges, transcending the market’s conventional approach to winter wear.
