João Neves Leads Ami Paris Into Spring

The PSG midfielder steps into the Spring collection, bringing one of football’s most promising talents to the forefront
For Spring 2025, Ami Paris focuses on a wardrobe that emphasizes versatility, ease, and functionality. Designed by Creative Director Alexandre Mattiussi, the collection is built around practical, everyday pieces that transition easily between settings while maintaining a clean aesthetic.
The campaign features João Neves, a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain. Born in 2004, Neves started at the Benfica academy before establishing himself at the senior level and later joining PSG. He is currently regarded as one of the most promising young players in European football.

Beyond performance, Neves is known for his disciplined approach, team-oriented mindset, and composure, qualities that resonate with Ami Paris’s ethos and inform the campaign’s emphasis on collective identity. In Le Casting, Neves is presented outside a purely athletic context. He is shown engaging in activities such as painting, dancing, playing music, and chess, offering a broader view of his personality and interests. The intention is to position him not only as an athlete but as an individual with a range of perspectives and capabilities.
The spring collection highlights transitional outerwear, including structured trench coats, suede overshirts, and lightweight windbreakers, combined with staple pieces such as long-sleeve T-shirts, piqué polos, and jersey sweats to create a modular approach to layering. Relaxed silhouettes, from wide-leg shorts to sporty trousers, reinforce a functional yet polished look, while heritage patterns such as argyle, collegiate stripes, and updated plaids add depth. A palette of fir green, camel, chocolate, and white, accented with heather gray and yellow, brings cohesion to the collection, highlighting its focus on wearability and a contemporary approach to dressing.
