Justin Bieber Launches Cannabis Line in Collaboration with Palms

I get my weed from California

We don’t know if Justin Bieber gets his peaches out in Georgia, but now we’re sure he gets his “Peaches” from California. The young superstar is entering the cannabis industry with packs of pre-rolled joints named Peaches.

Sold in California, Nevada, Florida and Massachusetts, this limited-edition collection is the collaboration between Bieber and Palms, a California-based cannabis company. Available in Sativa, Indica and Hybrid, each pack, priced $32, consists of seven 0.5 gram pre-rolls made out of high-quality indoor flowers. Also, each pack comes with a “Peaches” emblazoned Bic lighter.

“Weed was something that I felt people tried to make me feel bad for enjoying,” Bieber said in an interview with Vogue. “But I’ve now found a place in my life for weed products that have been beneficial in my human experience.”

Cannabis is proven to have various medical benefits. In 2021, the recreational use of cannabis is legalized in 19 states while the use for medical purposes is legal in 36 states. According to a Forbes article, in 2020, legal sales of cannabis across the U.S. reached $17.5 billion, a 46% increase from 2019. Regarding Nicole Kidman’s endorsement in the CBD company SeraLabs, Jay-Z’s business endeavor in weed line Monogram, and Martha Stewart’s launch of CBD products, Bieber is not the first, clearly not the last celebrity to break into the cannabis industry.

For Bieber, this launch is not simply about getting stoned but helps with justice and charity. According to the facts given by the Last Prison Project, which is dedicated to cannabis justice, there are more arrests for cannabis possession each year than for all violent crimes combined. Specifically, an estimated 40,000 individuals are currently incarcerated on victimless cannabis offenses. Bieber told Vogue, a portion of the sales will be donated to The Last Prison Project and Veterans Walk and Talk, a non-profit organization that advocates for the medicinal use of cannabis within military veteran communities.’
