Juun.J Returns to Seoul for Spring/Summer 2021
The “SEOULSOUL” collection takes its audience to the streets of Seoul, South Korea.
Juun.J honored Seoul, South Korea, as the focal point for its virtual presentation during Paris Fashion Week Men’s. The unisex collection, entitled “SEOULSOUL,” revolved around designer Jung Wook Jun’s hometown, featuring an artful video as models walked through the streets of Seoul in selected pieces from the Spring/Summer 2021 series.
“When I considered how to present my SS21 collection, I found myself thinking of my hometown, the city that inspires me,” Jung stated in an official press release. “For me, Seoul has always been too close and familiar to notice, but it has always been on my mind. There is no better place to film the collection. My favorite crowded streets, technological, but holding a traditional beauty,” he continued.
Cargo pockets were especially featured in this collection, accompanied by buckles, boxy bomber jackets and blazers, and pleated details. Ethereal dresses and billowed army trousers were another highlight in “SEOULSOUL,” enhancing this subtle delicacy within each constructed silhouette.
