As seasons turn, Generation Z—once known simply for micro-influencing, video editing, and being very, very young—are increasingly becoming full-blown adults. One striking example of this was the 18th birthday party of supermodel Kaia Gerber, which took place this weekend at Ian Schrager’s Paradise Club at The Times Square EDITION. And while Gerber, born in 2001, is securely a member of Gen-Z, her birthday look—a spitting-image recreation of her mom Cindy Crawford’s strappy Versace mini-dress—reflected both fashion-historical accuracy and familial pride.

The private event, emceed by nightlife icon Amanda Lepore, was strictly family-and-friends-only (Kendall Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brooklyn Beckham were among the attendees) but the party pics alone should transport you back to the good times.
