Kanye West Walks On Water

Kanye West brought back his Sunday Service this labor day weekend with a performance in Atlanta. He was accompanied by a gospel choir, who previously featured on his album Jesus Is King. Televangelist and pastor Joel Osteen delivered a sermon which touched upon the biblical story of Jesus inviting Peter to walk on water.

To demonstrate this moment, West, his children, and the choir walked across the surface of a pond near Pinewood Studios. As they walked, doves were released overhead. A translucent platform hidden by the water allowed the group to achieve this mystical feat. Photos and videos of the event were shared by West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, across her social media accounts.

West and Osteen previously worked together when West joined Osteen in addressing his 16,800 seat megachurch on Nov. 16 of last year. West is also currently in the midst of a controversial presidential bid. He is running as a third-party candidate for what he calls The Birthday Party, “because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.”
