Karol G Drops First Collection With Kappa

Following the announcement of a long-term partnership between the musician and Italian sportswear brand, the collaboration launched its first collection.

In a dynamic duo encapsulating flare and fashion, Colombian singer/songwriter Karol G is teaming up in a long-term partnership with Italian sportswear brand Kappa


Alongside the partnership is a drop of the first Karol G x Kappa collection, inspired by Karol G’s latest single “Bichota.”  As the largest female Latin artist of today and personal fan of the iconic Kappa styles, Karol G wanted to produce a collection which represented the song’s message—empowering women, and doing so with strong looks of celebration and force. 

“I think that the way people dress is something intimate and personal,” said Karol G. “For me, it’s more than just following the trend of the moment, it’s about wearing what makes you feel good and helps you express who you really are as a person.”


The collaboration is designed with today’s modern woman in mind. With relaxed yet crisply tailored silhouettes and both flared and fitted tracksuits, hats, bumbags and slides plus a black and brown palette, each piece is designed for the strength of the woman who is distinctive and unique, who knows what she wants and won’t settle for less.


Each piece in the collection also includes personalized detailing—Karol G’s signature and the word Bichota mark the garments, while the iconic Kappa Omini logo depicting a back-to-back silhouette of a man and woman also adorns the pieces.

The campaign, shot by Sam Hayes in Little Haiti, Miami, brings the collection to life and evokes the strength and power Karol G and Boglione speak of. Drawing inspiration from car clubs of the 90s and the distinctive, vibrant rawness of Miami graffiti culture, the campaign evokes a dynamic lifestyle that highlights Karol G and the collection.
