KATE MOSS RETURNS TO A MEDIUM SHE'S ALWAYS DOMINATED: THE MUSIC VIDEO

Massive Attack, the trip hop genre defining group started in the late ‘80s, have released a new music video featuring supermodel Kate Moss. The film is set to the band’s recent track “Ritual Spirit,” off an album of the same name, and was created by Medium and 3D (aka Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja). Del Naja comments on the collaboration:

“Me and Kate have been friends for years…last year we booked a studio with Medium and set up a shoot. During the session Kate was dancing in the dark, lighting herself with a naked bulb. She perfectly captured the essence of this track… intimate and ritualistic. We edited it back in Bristol to keep it raw with no re-touching, I didn't want to lose the spirit of that moment.”

Moss is something of a music favorite. She’s appeared in videos for Elton John, The White Stripes, Marianne Faithful, Primal Scream, and more. Her supermodel contemporary Naomi Campbell also recently appeared in a music video, for ANOHNI’s equally entrancing “Drone Bomb Me.”
