As the Black Lives Matter movement continues to grow, more artists and brands are creating initiatives in efforts to contribute. Most recently, KAWS announced a sale in support of organizations he believes are “making positive change happen.” 

KAWS launched an all-new companion figure called “TAKE” this week and will be contributing a portion of the sales to support Black Lives Matter and Color of Change. “I hope to raise $250,000,” he shared on Instagram. The new figure is featured in three colorways—black, blue and pink.

In addition to the new launch, the artist included a few pieces from his personal inventory and restocked his book KAWS: COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS.

Artists and brands are stepping up their game and it’s refreshing to see more contributing to the movement every day.
