Kendall Jenner Stars in Donna Karan’s Fall 26 Campaign

The model muse taps into the bustling energy of New York City in the label’s latest collection
Undeniably, Donna Karan represents the dynamic relationship between woman and city, presenting the two as continuously interconnected. For the new Fall 2026 season, the house brought together two forces: Kendall Jenner and New York City. The campaign marks the brand’s first return to New York since its relaunch, with the city buzzing in the background while the INXS song “Never Tear Us Apart” plays, the camera focused in on Jenner. New York is woven into the collection, its codes, history, and energy a distinct part of Donna Karan.
The campaign and collection take inspiration from the Donna Karan archives. Particularly, the visuals recall a 1980s campaign photographed by Dannis Piel starring Rosemary McGrotha. Like Jenner, the camera followed McGrotha through New York City as she lounged in the back of a limousine. Now, Jenner is in her place, imagining the city as completely her own with endless opportunity.

The collection presents a modern take while remaining reminiscent of archival looks. A bodysuit is modernized when paired with a wide belt, a draped wool jacket is paired with a pencil skirt. Much of the collection is in a deep black cherry, falling somewhere between oxblood and black. To compliment its depth, looks are accessorized with gold jewelry.
While minimalistic in style, the collection has a refined and tailored aesthetic. Further elevated through the storytelling of the campaign, the collection is meaningful and defines the direction of Donna Karan. It is both an embodiment and a celebration of the brand, city, and woman.
