At Park Avenue Armory, KHAITE’s Fall Winter 2026 collection unfolded through a sequence of phrases: now are you here? Here you are now; what makes something real; release me. While keeping language in the atmosphere, the newest collection considers authorship, illusion, and the tension between performance and truth.
Drawing from the 1970s, this collection is flamboyant, has cultivated personas, and deliberate self-invention. A key fabric seen throughout the collection is velvet, which refracts light like a canvas and keeps the garments alive. Lace and leather also played a role in the softness and structure of KHAITE’s F/W 26 lineup.

The silhouettes begin in the 70s and even play into inspiration from the early 80s, where assertive shoulders, disciplined closure, and the echoes of menswear of the past create their own dialogue. A new tuxedo emerged in this collection, which was elongated, lacquered in velvet, and rendered in matte wool.Â
The Blake handbag evolved for this collection in new expressions. Featuring a structured top-handle silhouette, the bag has a heightened sense of discipline. Footwear kept a presence featuring more velvet as well as florals that echoed the collection’s surfaces.Â
Marrying performance and authorship together as one, KHAITE’s F/W 26 collection allows distinction to blur while balancing control, gesture, and restraint.
