Ever since Kylie Jenner covered the "America's Woman Billionaires" Forbes issue last week, where she was revealed as the 27th richest self-made woman in the United States, the social media maven has faced major backlash over if she should be considered "self-made".

Everyone from fans to Dictionary.com have shared their opinion on the controversial matter, due to the fact that she grew up in the Kardashian dynasty.

Kylie has yet to fire back at her haters. However, amidst promotional interviews for her new Kimoji perfumes, Kim has spoken out on her younger sister's behalf, claiming that Kylie is "completely unfazed."

"I'll get protective over Kylie when someone will say something. Or you know when they were talking about how … she's self-made. And I just was like, I really don't get that backlash. You must just be a Kardashian hater and keep hating cause it's really not bothering her."

In another interview, she continued that she considers all of their family to be "self-made."

"Me, Kylie, not one [of the siblings] has ever depended on our parents for anything besides advice," she said. "That’s how I lived my life with my dad. He never gave me anything. We might have the opportunity, but I’ve seen it go the complete opposite way. Nobody works harder than my sisters and my mom."

Kylie Cosmetics, which Kylie has said she plans to hold onto "forever" and pass on to her daughter Stormi one day, reportedly has made $230 million in net profit since its beginning in 2016.

Whether or not you consider the youngest Jenner to be "self-made", one thing that's certain is that the Kardashian-Jenner sisters always have each other's backs.
