Kim K, meet Kim Jones.

Fendi and Skims are debuting a partnership capsule collection, featuring brand codes from each iconic label—the luxury Italian fashion house and American-based shapewear brand are coming together for the Fendi x Skims capsule, a wardrobe for the modern woman.

“Both Fendi and Skims have a cultural power very different from each other, but equally as strong,” said Kim Kardashian West. “We share a desire to push boundaries, think differently and challenge convention which is why we found so much common ground collaborating on this collection together.”

Fendi x Skims draws on the tradition of Fendi—pieces are inspired by sketches from a 1979 Fendi collection by Karl Lagerfeld, which popularized bold colors, tube tops and tight torso sashes—and the contemporary appeal of Skims, making shapewear that reflects the past and transports to the future.

The collection takes the signature, sleek shapewear of Skims and imbues it with Kim Jones’ innovation and contemporary persuasion of Fendi. Velvet meets shapewear, while gradients, leather dresses in Greco-Roman forms and embossed knitwear with a Fendi x Skims logo make womenswear anew. From underwear and hosiery to sportswear and dresses, the collection is empowering and bold, a unique take on both Kardashian West and Jones’ visions. 

 

In a color palette of Skims’ iconic neutral tones, Fendi accessories in the capsule collection in brighter hues are welcome doses of saturation. The new Baguette Chain is featured alongside a signature Sunshine Shopper in 3D FF logo, as well as the Peekaboo and FENDI First. Footwear complements the simple, functional beauty of Skims, taking the form of Fendi’s debut shearling hiking sandal with an intrinsically Los Angeles vibe, alongside new interpretations of the FENDI First heel. 

“My Fendi is about creating something for every woman, every different shape—and that’s something at the heart of Skims too,” said Jones.
