Kim Kardashian Adds to Y2K-Inspired SKIMS Velour Collection

Y2K-inspired loungewear? Yes, please.

SKIMS, Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, has dropped eight brand-new pieces to add to her Velour collection, and we’re deep in our Y2K feels.

Back in October 2020, she released her first Velour collection that she marketed with the help of her bestie, Paris Hilton. On August 31, she expanded her clothing empire once again with the release of these stylish new athleisure pieces that are perfect for any and all occasions, whether you’re adding to your street style collection, lounging on the couch, or hitting the gym. Think of Kardashian’s jet-set style of the early 2000sJuicy Couture sweatsuits and big sunglassesbut style it for 2021.

This drop features five new styles and four new colors of garments, so there are plenty of options for mixing and matching one of these sets. For tops, the collection includes a cami and crewneck tank as well as a zip-up hoodie. There are several options for bottoms, too, from biker shorts, to joggers, to leggings. The clothes are available in a wide variety of warm neutral tones, from copper and gold, to gunmetal and dusty rose, just in time for fall. Each garment costs between $48 and $78 and is available in a variety of sizes, from XXS to 4X.

Every part of this Velour collection is Y2K-inspired, down to the campaign photos, which include candid shots on a digital camera at the airport in front of a black cadillac that have peak-2000s-Kim Kardashian written all over them.

With fall right around the corner, temperatures will be dropping and we’ll be entering cozy season sooner than we think, so this collection dropped at the perfect time. Plus, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s not a bad idea to spend time indoors in a soft loungewear set. With so many options for styling the new pieces, either separately or as a full set, one thing’s for sure: you’ll definitely be comfortable and stylish in SKIMS Velour.
