Kith Collaborates With Converse For A Limited Edition Release
Kith celebrates its 10-year anniversary by partnering with Converse to recreate the iconic Chuck 70.
Kith has been known for its sleek and minimalist designs, but for its 10-year celebration, the streetwear brand collaborated with Converse to do a fresh take on the Chuck 70. The shoe’s fit, a high-top with a slight platform, is a classic that pairs well with an array of styles and colors—on par with Kith’s aesthetic. Although the brand tends to stick with a neutral color palette, this release is full of bright colors and prints, and is decorated with dozens of Kith emblems.
To signify Kith’s anniversary, the different marks go in hand with their history, such as the Kitch gothic, script and serif logos. These patterns are scattered throughout the shoe, all the way up to the metal eyelets. Some other unique touches include the Velcro Kith serif patch, which replaces the standard rubber redial patch seen on the original Chuck 70, and the KXTH 10 logo on the side of the rubber outsole. Custom packaging and a special dust bag are also available/included.
The black colorway model is currently available at all Kith shops. The white colorway was made in limited units, and 72 pairs will be randomly gifted, both in-store and online, to customers who purchased the other model.
