Kith Drops Spring 1 2022 Lookbook
Florals, earth tones, and… Steve Buscemi?
Streetwear giant Kith released their Spring 1 2022 lookbook, highlighting both their 88-piece Spring 2022 in-line collection and their Spring 2022 Classics collection. The face of the collection is none other than actor and Brooklyn-native Steve Buscemi (you read that correctly).
The new collection centers around Spring-friendly earth tone neutrals and florals, all of which pair well with the brands new men’s denim collection. A first for Kith, the denim line includes classic denim silhouettes in the embroidered Varick denim jean and the Ellis denim jacket, finished with satin damask branding and labeling, as well as a playful addition with the patchwork denim tote.
The seasonal color palette and floral motif is continued into the campaign and the lookbook, which has models posing in a room full of colorful wildflowers.
Another highlight of the collection is the new Madison III Parka, a long line 2-way zip coat designed to work as a transitional piece. For the Spring Classics collection, Kith focuses on their Men’s Active line, introducing several new lifestyle options including a nylon track jacket and several dad caps.
The Spring collection would not be complete without shoes designed by owner Ronnie Fieg. The fourth installation of Fieg’s 8th St. Line, made for Clarks Originals, is included in the collection, with new Lockhill colorways, blue/yellow and pink/blue.
This year’s Spring collection builds upon last year’s 10th anniversary Spring 1 collection, which heavily featured floral embroidery, and also experimented with bold colors and patterns like paisley. The 2021 Spring 2 collection also incorporated florals, so it’s clear what the inspiration is for Spring at Kith.
The Kith Spring 1 Men’s collection will be released on Friday, Feb. 11 at all Kith shops and online at 11 a.m. ET.
