Kith is Taking Over Miami
The new Miami Design District location will also feature a Sadelle’s and Kith Treats outpost
If you’ve ever walked by a Kith store, you probably also first walked past a line of excited shoppers. A shopping staple of SoHo, Beverly Hills, Aspen, and more, the retailer will be opening their second Miami location on February 24th, complete with Kith for Sadelle’s inaugural Miami restaurant by Major Food Group’s Chef Mario Carbone and the brand’s first standalone Kith Treats outpost. ‘
Designed by Kith’s Founder and Creative Director Ronnie Fieg, the Kith Miami Design District embodies the modern elements of the city it is in, curating a unique shopping experience reflective of Miami’s environment. Marble floors, fluted plaster, birch wood and brass compose the floors and structures of the store. Sleek and luxurious, the brand’s classic neutral color palette is paired with vibrant greens – a nod to Miami’s natural beauty. Birch-paneled walls and ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and floating white steps further the minimal yet distinct design choices.
In celebration of the opening, prominent footwear industry figure Ronnie Fieg and ASICS have reprised their long-standing partnership, introducing the return of the GEL-LYTE III Remastered, the inaugural pair that the duo introduced when they first began working together in 2007. Along with the shoe, the duo has brought back the original ASICS box and hang tags to commemorate the opening of the Kith Miami Design District flagship. The collaboration will launch later at Kith’s international locations as well as Kith.com & EU.Kith.com.
Born out of Fieg’s passion for footwear, Kith was established in 2011 and functions as both a lifestyle brand as well as a retail establishment that seeks to shift the current fashion landscape. Kith’s philosophy is to give the customer more than they pay for – not just their items, but an experience – something that has surely been accomplished since.
