Kith Launches Team USA Olympic Collab
Kith x Team USA launches Olympic capsule
As the postponed Olympics finally get ready to light the torch this week, the lifestyle brand Kith announced its official partnership with Team USA. They had created an entire Team USA collection for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 that was planned to launch last summer, but the capsule is set to debut at long last.
The collection is inspired by iconic Team USA garments reimagined through the Kith lens. The six-piece capsule drops July 30 and includes two nylon quarter zip track jackets and pants in black and white, each sporting Kith, Team USA, and Olympic logos. They also have two different hats with the Olympic rings.
Kith created a campaign featuring several former gold medalists including gymnast Shannon Lee Miller, swimmer Aaron Peirsol, and two members of the 1992 United States men’s basketball “Dream Team.”
The campaign will release a new photo every day on its social media leading up to the launch, starting with volleyball stars Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor, who won six gold medals at 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympic Games.
The jacket will retail for $195, the track pants for $175, and the hats for $65. The collection will be sold at Kith’s flagship stores and online.
