LA-Based THRILLERS Releases New Album and Video
The sibling duo just released their second album ‘Hug Your Brother’ along with a vivacious music video for the title track.

THRILLERS is composed of brothers Jeremy and Gregory Pearson who are based in Los Angeles, where they create funky, upbeat grooves. By pulling sounds from alt-pop, progressive funk, new wave, and afro tribe, THRILLERS’s music is what they describe as a “minimalist gumbo.” Following their acclaimed debut single “Can’t Get Enough,” where pop funk fused with LoFi R&B, the duo just released their second album Hug Your Brother via their own indie label Nue Tempo.
“This album is the sonic embodiment of our lives. It’s the essence of the Black experience in America,” said the Pearson brothers of their new release. “Hug Your Brother was inspired by humble beginnings to our journeys becoming men [and] dedicated to triumph and self awareness.”
The title track of the album is accompanied by a righteous music video directed by filmmaker Aalany McMahan, who’s creative vision has been met with artists like Dillon Francis, The Garden, and Tyler, The Creator. In the midst of all the chaos in the world right now, the video for “Hug Your Brother” is an ode to free thinkers and was designed to heal. While the brothers get down to the spirited beat and drive a moped scooter through a sunny city in matching suits and far-out shades, we’re reminded of better days and the ones yet to come.
“With HYB, we wanted to provide the soundtrack to love and unity in a time when it’s most needed,” said THRILLERS. “Our message is: take care of each other, forgive, be grateful and ambitious.”
