Lady Gaga Announces Release Date for ‘Chromatica’
After postponing it’s release earlier this year, Gaga’s sixth studio album will be dropping on May 29th.
The highly anticipated album Chromatica is Lady Gaga’s first since working on A Star Is Born, and she just announced it will be releasing May 29th via Interscope Records. With features from Elton John, Blackpink, and Ariana Grande, Chromatica was executive produced by Gaga herself alongside BloodPop, who’s worked with the likes of Madonna, Vampire Weekend, HAIM, and Grimes.
“Stupid Love” was the first taste of the upcoming album, debuting at #1 on iTunes in 58 countries, garnering 300 million streams worldwide, and earning Gaga her 16th Billboard Top 10 hit. The single’s accompanied video was shot entirely on an iPhone 11 Pro with 70 million streams on YouTube making it trend at #1 upon it’s release.
When Chromatica drops, it’ll be available in multiple physical forms including a standard CD and cassettes and vinyls in various colors. The pop star also launched an exclusive edition of the album’s vinyl form and an array of vibrant, Gaga-esque merchandise on her website, where pre-order and pre-save for Chromatica is also available.
