Lady Gaga to Replace Beyoncé at Coachella
Text: William Defebaugh
Following last week's news that a very pregnant Beyoncé would not, in fact, be able to perform at Coachella this year, festival-goers can be reassured that their money was still well spent; Queen B's headlining slot will be filled by none other than Lady Gaga.
Both Gaga and Coachella confirmed the news on social media last night with an updated poster for the festival. Aside from choosing another performer who's on Beyoncé's level, we're happy to see the top spot go to another female artist; this will mark the first time a woman has headlined the festival since Bjork in 2007.

The announcement serves as another notch in Gaga's belt for the year, coming just after her touchdown Superbowl halftime show, and right before she embarks on a world tour to support her critically-acclaimed 2016 album Joanne.
