Lana Del Rey Goes for a Soft Touch on “Let Me Love You Like a Woman”

The song is the first single off the singer’s seventh studio album.

Lana Del Rey finally drops the first nugget of music off her upcoming studio album with “Let Me Love You Like a Woman”. The song is the first single from the singer’s seventh studio album, Chemtrails over the Country Club.

In the song, Del Rey sings of a blissful relationship, full of comfort, poems, and music, making her signature references to west coast living. The inviting lyrics are accompanied by dulcet pianos and a soft guitar and drum beat coming in near the end of the track. It’s a song that could easily be melancholic but manages to be satisfyingly content instead. “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” was co-written and produced by Jack Antonoff.

Chemtrails over the Country Club was initially supposed to be released on September 5. However, due to vinyl production issues, the album was pushed back to late 2020 or early 2021. The album follows her critically acclaimed Norman F***ing Rockwell from last year.
