Following a string of high-profile collaborations, Lana Del Rey is the next famous face to model for SKIMS. Del Rey brings her iconic old Hollywood glamour that has shaped her over a decade-long career to this shoot with her signature dramatic makeup carrying over into this campaign. The images, shot by Nadia Lee Cohen, feature Del Rey adorned with bows, hearts, lace, and even blue velvet in accordance with the overtly feminine style her large fanbase is infatuated with.

“I’ve been a big fan of SKIMS since the beginning, so being featured in their Valentine’s campaign is so exciting,” says Lana Del Rey in a statement. “Their collection is so pretty and dreamy, which made collaborating with Nadia Lee Cohen on the creative so fun. This campaign comes after Del Rey was listed as the Friday headliner for the 2024 Coachella festival accompanying Doja Cat and Tyler The Creator. Her career keeps reaching new heights with the release of her tenth studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard, and the festival tour shortly after finding mass success. She first teased the partnership with an Instagram story featuring a Skims box and the cryptic message, “warning: things are about to get crazy… for a long time”.
