Latin Music Icon Ozuna Drops Video for “No Se Da Cuenta” Featuring Daddy Yankee
The award-winning Puerto Rican rapper teams up with legendary reggaetón artist Daddy Yankee in a video set in Ancient Egypt
Yesterday, Ozuna dropped the official video for the song “No Se Da Cuenta,” (“s/he doesn’t notice”) featuring legendary reggaetón artist Daddy Yankee. The track is from his fourth album released earlier this month titled ENOC.
The video was directed by Marlon Pena who in the past has worked with other notable artists such as Nicky Jam, Karol G, and J Balvin. The Puerto Rican rapper was inspired by ancient Egypt’s classic pyramids and gold-lined temples. In the video, a bad-boy romantic Ozuna is seen lusting after an Egyptian queen who refuses to acknowledge him. The story unfolds from there.
Also in the video are cgi camels, dancers in royal servant attire, a crowd of onlooking spectators, and a luxurious ride, suggesting that Ozuna and Daddy Yankee are from a futuristic time period. Both rappers can be seen performing side by side in various scenes throughout the video.
According to a press release, “this song is among the album’s most danceable and appeals to all ages with its throwback sound. The brotherhood, energy, and connection between Ozuna and Daddy Yankee are palpable.”
At the moment, the video has hit 1M views on Youtube, with the official audio hitting a cool 11 million views just two weeks after its release. Other guests on the album include artists such as Doja Cat, Sia, Karol G, and JBalvin.
