In case you don’t speak French, le monde est à vous translates to “the world is yours.” And in case you haven’t seen the iconic Scarface scene during which Al Pacino’s Tony Montana gazes at a blimp broadcasting the French saying, it’s crucial to know that the phrase’s essence rests on a universal optimism lauding the world as your oyster.

Louis Vuitton builds on those five French words, unearthing its Spring-Summer 2025 Men’s Collection, led by Creative Director Pharrell Williams, in a wittily universal campaign titled Le Monde Est à Vous.

Shot by cool kid photographer Stef Mitchell, the campaign witnesses a young cast of impeccably dressed, next-generation diplomats roaming the halls of Paris’s La Maison d’UNESCO. Constructed in 1958, La Maison emerged as an emblematic structure of peace, transcending national borders and uniting humanity under the macrocosm of global creative culture. Here is where the campaign reveals itself as every bit intentional, its location setting the foundation for a movement devoted to the LVERS ideology.

In fact, the LVRS philosophy, one that aims to reinforce a global community of like-minded humans strengthened by their appreciation for a culturally fluid savoir-faire, is sprinkled throughout the collection, evident in several motifs and inscriptions, as well as the images that develop its context. The LV Footprint Traveller, crafted in classic Monogram or black leather and black or brown crocodile, is imbued with the globetrotter’s need for functionally comfortable speed. The Millionaire 1.0 sunglasses are joined by the debut of the Millionaire 4.0, and even the equatorial sun is no match for their skin-toned frames and lenses. As for the Speedy P9, its coloring is reimagined through a palette of faded fluorescents and several new sizes.

Louis Vuitton has the travel bug embedded in its genetic makeup. Forget the fountain of youth, jet-setting is where the House finds an eternal source of vitality,  and the smartly clad Louis Vuitton diplomats serve as emblems of a world united in its differences ー continental and cultural. Yet, whether a diplomat, an explorer, or merely a leisure traveler, each international guise recognizes the travel-centric notions behind individual enlightenment.

The collection’s wardrobe is rendered in the nuances of skin tones of humans from all around the world, an ode to the beauty behind diversity and the warm spirit of a global heterogeneity. As a whole, the collection implements its codes as a mechanism to embrace ー embrace the unknown, the unfamiliar and the unexplored. As much as travel delivers quite the phenomenal hobby, it also provides us with perspective. It opens our eyes and reveals different ways of thinking, and through it, Louis Vuitton encourages us to recognize the magnitude of the events unfolding in our own backyard and abroad.

It’s complex and it’s vast, but it’s out there. That big and glorious world, le monde est à vous.
