Famed musician and men’s style icon Lenny Kravitz has been announced as the newest global ambassador for Swiss watchmaking maison, Jaeger-LeCoultre. As a true multi-hyphenate (singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, designer and photographer), there was a natural connection between Kravitz and the soul of Jaeger-LeCoultre, who are known for their inventive design language. “With his artistry, inventiveness and ability to transcend genres, Lenny epitomizes Jaeger-LeCoultre’s values and style,” shares Catherine Rénier, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. “We are delighted to have him represent our Maison.”
Kravitz’s love affair with watches is nothing new, with him taking a special admiration for his father’s chronographs in his early childhood. Today, the music legend’s legacy is unabashedly creative in spirit, which was a clear connection between himself and the Swiss maison. “I feel very drawn to Jaeger-LeCoultre. The way they combine such a high level of craftsmanship, design and function in their watches – that really resonates with me.”

Last month during his performance at the Oscars, Kravitz wore his favorite Jaeger-LeCoultre design, the Reverso, as a piece to compliment his equal parts boho and rockstar black silk jumpsuit. Coming off of his win last year of the CFDA Fashion Icon Award, Kravitz recently wrapped the filming of a new campaign for the watch label alongside fellow Ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy, which is set to release in May.

“Beyond the function of a watch, style is very important – how it looks and the way it fits on your wrist. You have to really connect with it,” shares Kravitz. “My Jaeger-LeCoultre pieces feel like they have always been there – they blend with me and their style is absolutely timeless. You can really make these watches your own and when you want to change the mood, change the vibe, they always fit. It’s as if they become one with you.”
