Les Benjamins and The Webster’s Collaboration Is a Mystical Escape

Relax a bit with Les Benjamins.

There’s truly nothing we love more than a great collaboration. Luxury multi-brand retailer The Webster invited Istanbul-based brand Les Benjamins to host an eclectic in-store pop up at their South Beach concept store amongst the return of Art Basel Miami.

The collection, cleverly titled, “‘The Mystic Journey,” draws inspiration from Les Benjamins’ Spring Summer 2022 collection, and transforms the retail space to a vision directly placing you in Marrakesh’s Majorelle Gardens. Bunyamin Aydin, the Creative Director of Les Benjamins, focused on hues and color palettes directly inspired by the gardens themselves, which served as a mind-soother during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The collection featured in-store consists of various pieces including swimwear, t-shirts, bucket hats, sweats, as well a 100 percent silk capsule collection which includes a dress, shorts, button-up and bag.

There are two varying prints displayed on the pieces, one consisting of Majorelle Gardens, in silky shades of orange and blue. And another depicts the scenes and souks of Marrakesh itself, available in shades of muted sunset orange. The print was handpainted by British artist Neil Raitt, who has collaborated with Les Benjamins in the past and is known for his delicate scenescapes you could put yourself directly in.

While the collection puts your mind in a picturesque scene, the pop-up exhibition directly takes you there. Featuring a life-size recreation of the fountain in the Majorelle Gardens, and delightful details down to the tiles and specific shades of felt, The Webster’s pop-up serves as an escape to an enchanting and relaxing rendezvous. The in-store pop-up was designed by Dong Ping Wong, of renowned architectural studio Food New York and collaborated with Les Benjamins numerous times.

The pop-up shop in The Webster runs December 2nd – 12th, and will then migrate from Miami to Webster Los Angeles and last but not least, New York.
