Let’s Go To The Beach with MSGM

Massimo Giorgetti’s most recent collection makes you want to stay young, wild and foolish forever.

For SS23, Massimo Giorgetti takes MSGM to an industrial glass and cement building, with a nuanced twist. The Spring/Summer menswear collection takes cues from surf and beach lifestyles, mixed with hope and escapism.

Bold print ensembles take the stage, accompanied by boxy crop tops and striped rugby polos. Giorgetti channels a carefree, youthful optimism through the combination of color palettes, prints, and textures.

Vibrant pinks and tropical greens are contrasted with neutral shades of greys. Crisp, bleached denim also makes an appearance, which is complemented by prints of hibiscus, bananas, palms, dolphins, and crocodiles.

Slouchy drawstring pants are paired with loosely worn blazers, dressed down with sneakers. The simplicity in the various ensembles is brought together with western fedoras and statement necklaces. Leather belts are layered at the waist while models carry duffel bags down the runway, ready to go on their next vacation.

Staging a collection exploding with hues of summer enthusiasm outside a cement and glass building in an industrial area of Milan perfectly encapsulates Giorgetti’s vision – combining utopia and dystopia into a space of harmonious coexistence.
