Levi’s and JJJJound are set to release their first collaboration on Friday, May 5th. It will be a never-before-seen encounter of Levi’s iconic denim and JJJJound’s minimalistic approach, resulting in a six-piece collection that draws inspiration from both brands’ ethos.

The light-wash selvedge denim becomes the agitator of this collection, which includes both apparel and accessories reframed through updated designs. The emblematic timeless classics that Levi’s has brought to your closet in the past few decades are about to take on exciting reinterpretations. Still holding on to the integrity and strong identity of both labels, the collection introduces elevated fabrications and subtle branding. 

The duo crafted a slim-fit jacket from selvedge denim, inspired by the Canadian military silhouette and perfect for your days out of the office. It features slanted chest pockets, co-branded button shanks, and a JJJJound embroidery on the collar. It can be paired up with the collab button-down which is a combination of JJJJound’s classic oxford shirt and the vintage Levi’s® workwear shirt. Designed with a slim fit just like the jacket, it features single-button barrel cuffs, double needle stitch on the pockets, stamped JJJJound print, and embroidery above the hem, as well as on the collar.

As an ode to the 501’s 150th anniversary, the duo also redesigned the 501® ’93. Made from Levi’s® signature SHRINK-TO-FIT™ selvedge denim, the silhouette is offered in a mid-rise with a straight leg, and it features a printed logo stamp on the left side and a JJJJound embroidery on the right pocket.

You might want to add to the look the pocket tee, inspired by JJJJound’s J90 silhouette, with a co-branded stamp print plus a large watercolor horse screen-print on the back; or you might want to give it a final touch with the duo 6-panel hat or the all-red tote, a true maximalist expression of JJJJound’s classic bag.
