LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi: SPRING-SUMMER 27 COLLECTION

A mood more sensed than defined
Louis Gabriel Nouchi’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection never tries to explain itself. Instead, it leans into a mood—quiet, elusive, and slightly off balance. The starting point was Twin Peaks, not in an obvious way, but through the strange tension that runs beneath it. Everything feels familiar, yet just out of reach.
Tailoring remains at the heart of the collection, although it never feels rigid. Jackets take the lead, paired with broken-up suiting in pinstripes, waxed cotton, and grain de poudre, while everyday pieces bring a sense of ease that keeps the collection grounded.

There are softer moments, too. Sheer fabrics, satin, pointelle cotton, and touches of ostrich feather appear sparingly, adding texture rather than drama. Layered tank tops and dresses echo one of LGN’s recurring signatures without making it the focus. Nothing feels overly styled or exaggerated.

The palette stays muted—black, ivory, sand, moss, and washed-out pinks—while checks and stripes borrowed from vintage finds give familiar pieces a slightly different character. Harley-Davidson leather belts and boots introduce a rougher energy, balanced by Mykita sunglasses that leave every look feeling a little anonymous.
It’s a collection built on contrasts: structured but relaxed, sensual without being obvious, nostalgic without looking back. Rather than chasing a single idea of masculinity, Nouchi lets each look suggest its own story, leaving just enough unanswered.
