In an unexpected but more than welcome collaboration, Liam Payne and Dixie D’amelio have dropped a brand new Holiday single, “Naughty List,” together on Capitol Records.

The former boyband icon and the social media star teased the song earlier this week on TikTok, giving fans a 30 second preview as an early Christmas gift and encouraging them to use the teaser clip as an audio to their own videos.

A warm, glittery song reminiscent of holiday cheer, “Naughty List” marks Payne’s second Christmas-themed track in his solo career, following “All I Want (For Christmas)” last year from LP1, his debut solo album. The Platinum-selling artist has recently become more than affluent on TikTok, garnering millions of followers in a matter of weeks on the platform and making videos in collaboration with fan favorites, from makeup artists to musicians.

“I love making TikTok videos and have really enjoyed connecting with the community,” said Payne. “Everyone on TikTok is so creative and I love seeing all of the ways they use my music in their videos which is why I decided to release ‘Naughty List’ on TikTok first. My fans are the best and I can’t wait to see all of them using ‘Naughty List’ in their videos”

TikTok is also the home of D’amelio’s fame—after gaining popularity over the past year for her videos on the platform and amassing over 75 million followers across platforms, the American singer signed to HITCO under the direction of LA Reid and released her debut single “Be Happy” earlier this year along with a remix featuring Blackbear & Lil Mosey, collectively amassing over 200 million worldwide streams.
