It seems nothing is off-limits for rapper Lil Uzi Vert who never shies away from a fashion risk. Known as one of the most experimental on the music scene, you’ve probably stumbled on his Instagram page which doubles as an outfit bible sporting everything from the latest Abloh-era Louis Vuitton, to gender-bending Chanel handbags.

On his way to perform at Austin City Limits festival over the weekend, Uzi graced Instagram with an outfit picture hopping onto a private jet. Amongst a slime green flame jacket and matching Nike Air Foamposite “Panoraman” sneakers (retailing at just under $5,000), the rapper wore a shirt featuring a black and white airbrushed portrait of Rihanna with script below reading “I Love Rihanna”, but this isn’t the first time Uzi has showed his fanboy love for the triple-threat singer, actress, and fashion designer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Way back in 2016 when he was part of the Freshman XXL class, Uzi proudly displayed an ANTI Tour t-shirt in his freestyling video. In fact, Uzi follows just two people on Instagram: Beyoncé and the Bad Gal herself. Additionally, during his performance at Rolling Loud Festival in New York City, the rapper projected an image of Rih Rih on stage during his set.

It’s no secret Uzi is a die-hard Rihanna fan like the rest of us, the question is are there any plans of a collaboration between the two in the future? As two powerful forces in music and fashion, we’d love to see it.
