Last week, Lindsay Lohan announced that after 12 years she was making a music comeback. The icon took to Instagram to share the news with a cryptic video post. Then on Friday, she dropped her new single “Back to Me”. The beachy dance track is reflective of LiLo’s current life, living in Greece. Lohan is no stranger to making music, during her meteoric rise to fame in the early 00’s she released two studio albums, ‘Speak’ and ‘A Little More Personal’.

Her debut album, Speak peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and gained a lot of attention. During this time LiLo also starred in Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls and started to conquer the fashion world. She landed fashion campaigns, attended fashion weeks, and worked with celebrity stylist/former V contributor, Rachel Zoe.

Lohan became a muse to Karl Lagerfeld and worked with the designer on a series of editorials, one of which saw her pose as Liz Taylor. Mert and Marcus shot her Miu Miu campaigns, and she’s also fronted ads for Jill Stuart, Philipp Plein and, English label, Lavish Alice. In 2008, Lohan launched 6126, a clothing line that specialized in leggings. In 2010, she collaborated with Urango co-designing that season’s collection. More recently the cultural icon has been spotted wearing Gucci, Moschino and sitting front row at the Saint Laurent shows.
