Lisa Von Tang Announces T-Shirt for Hope Contest Amid Social Distancing Orders

The Singapore-based fashion designer wants to see your original artwork.

Amid treacherous times, Singapore-based luxury fashion label Lisa Von Tang just launched their T-shirt for Hope Contest, a competitive platform that aims to connect and inspire people while social distancing orders remain in effect.

While staying indoors, participants are encouraged to create an original artwork in any medium and submit a photo of the complete project to www.lvtcares.com until May 30. Once the submission period ends, a panel of top creatives will select five winners whose artwork with their T-shirt for Hope shoppable on lisavontang.com. Additionally, winners will receive a bespoke piece designed by Lisa Von Tang, a personalized artwork by the highly acclaimed judge Marcus Atiken, virtual classes from wellness studio Space2b, and their own T-shirt for Hope.

“When Covid19 measures forced us all to stay at home, I thought about how many of us are feeling isolated and afraid. We wake up, we check for coronavirus news, most likely have to do more emergency planning for our families or work…. And then we still have a long stretch of day stuck inside. My team and I came up with this plan of inviting our fans to art party themselves! Creating art gives people something positive to busy themselves with while inspiring others too,” says Lisa Von Tang. “With the theme of #HOPEISCONTAGIOUS we hope this contest creates good vibes the world over. I really believe that love is always the answer, and sometimes we have to help others get to a better place when times are tough. We are in this together, and that’s a great lesson that Covid19 has already taught us.”

With philanthropy at the forefront of the label’s endeavors, each purchase of a T-shirt for Hope will include a $25 donation to WHO’s Covid Relief Fund. Make sure to submit your designs before the May 30 deadline and stay tuned for the winners.
