Just one day after cinema’s biggest night, the Oscars, Lana Del Rey is continuing to pay tribute to the art form in her own way. The superstar has released a cover of Madonna’s showstopping piano ballad “You Must Love Me" from Evita, which took home the Academy Award for Best Original Song back in 1997. Fittingly, Lana stays true to the original version, only adding her aching, breathy vocals to Andrew Lloyd Webber's beautiful composition of swelling strings and those classic piano chords.

"Andrew Lloyd Webber has been one of my primary inspirations in music, so to do a cover of one of his songs is a dream," Lana said in a statement. Webber penned the track alongside Tim Rice for the film adaptation of the musical, especially for Madonna's take on the title character. The song is part of an upcoming two-disc compilation, Andrew Lloyd Webber Unmasked: The Platinum Collection, a tribute to the legendary film and stage composer that compiles different artists' takes on selections from his vast repertoire. Listen to Lana's beautiful contribution below.
