Emily Vaughn is back at it again with a sultry new pop hit and a brand new video premiering exclusively on V. Following her breakout songs "Better Off" and "Priority", "Over That" is seriously sexy and empowering, and steps above the typical breakup anthem. The time is now for women in music to reclaim their power and their story, and Vaughn is doing just that. The retro video features shots of Vaughn in on-trend athleisure wear in one frame, and in boudoir-inspired shots in the next, all layered under the track's lyrics in nostalgic film camera font — a break-up gone VHS.

"For me, writing 'Over That' genuinely helped me move past any bitterness lingering from my past relationship. In this video, we chose to project the song's lyrics over visuals from past videos to portray the emotional growth that came from that process," Vaughn told us about her new track. "My videographer Joe Desantis and I pulled the entire video together ourselves— so while it's simple and reflective, it's also real and a genuine reflection of my feelings behind the song, which is what I love about it."

If "Over That" is any indication, we can expect more uber-catchy, empowering summer anthems from this rising pop artist. Watch the new video below.
