Stop what you are doing immediately. On Instagram last Friday, Hilary Duff announced that there would be a reboot of the beloved Disney show, Lizzie McGuire, on the Disney+ streaming platform

Now, this is what dreams are made of.

The show ended in 2004 and several die-hard viewers have been cherishing archived episodes. But not anymore. The new series features McGuire (Duff) as a 30-year-old in New York City handling all of the trials and tribulations that come with that. As of right now, it hasn’t been announced that there will be any steamy Italian heart-throbs named Paulo, but we can dream.

It also hasn’t been announced if the rest of the star-studded cast—queue Miranda and Gordo—will return but all questions will be answered soon. The show will air on the new Disney+ streaming platform ($7 a month in the United States) on November 12 of this year which also happens to be McGuire’s 30th birthday.

“She was there for everyone in their pre-teens. She was their best friend, and I would love to try to embody that for her in her 30s and going through those challenges,” Duff told E! News.

As McGuire takes on the big apple there are so many pre-show questions. Will she be married to Gordo after their romance blossomed after a written message in her yearbook? Or will she and Miranda thrive as independent businesswomen destined for power? Or will McGuire have children of her own? Whatever the scenario, it is a blessing to have Lizzie McGuire back in our lives.
