LOEWE is ushering in the Year of the Snake with a stunning collection inspired by Chinese craftsmanship, highlighted by Spring Awakening: Dance of the Snake, a short film celebrating renewal and artistry.

This year, the focus is on cloisonné, a historic enamel technique from China’s royal courts known for its vivid colors and intricate metalwork. Collaborating with Master Xiong Songtao, LOEWE has reimagined the art form in luxury designs. Highlights include a Nest bag adorned with snake motifs and lotus details, alongside necklaces featuring auspicious symbols like snakes and clouds. Cloisonné influences also extend to ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, and iconic bags like the Puzzle and Pebble Bucket, reinterpreted with bold textures and sculptural elements.

The accompanying film stars renowned dancer Xie Xin and her troupe, blending traditional kite-making, shadow puppetry, and contemporary movement into a vibrant tale of a snake finding community and embracing spring. Created by artists Danno and Zhang Xiaodong, the film’s intricate props bring this celebration of craft to life.

The collection debuts on January 9 in stores and online at loewe.com.
