With spooky season dead and gone and Thanksgiving quickly approaching, it is time to usher in the holiday spirit and there is no better way to do it than with LOEWE’s holiday collaboration with Suna Fujita. Creative Director Jonathan Anderson has tapped into the power of imagination, blending vibrant colors, whimsical details, and shimmering metallics. The heart of this collaboration is Kyoto-based ceramic duo Suna Fujita, who brings their delicate artistry and playful storytelling, breathing life into the collection. 

Suna Fujita—founded by artists Shohei Fujita and Chisato Yamano, is known for their intricate hand-painted miniature scenes on ceramics which are featured in this collection. The pair began working together in 2005, and have taken the name Suna Fujita since 2014. Their work is known for often featuring paintings of animals, plants, and landscapes, inspired by nature and the magic of fantasy and memory. 

For LOEWE’s Holidays collection, Fujita and Yamano created a new series of illustrations that transport us into a world of childlike wonder. From the ocean to verdant meadows and the far reaches of outer space, playful creatures make their way across LOEWE’s signature pieces. Octopi, squids, whales, bunnies, and hamsters can be seen frolicking across bags, accessories, and ready-to-wear garments in the collection. 

Iconic bags like the Flamenco and Hammock are adorned with gorgeous drawings of marine creatures brought to life in an aquatic color palette that portrays a dreamy underwater fantasy world. While hopping bunnies and adorable hamsters bring an element of childlike fun with earthy hues, embroidery, and prints to signature bags. 

This season, the Puzzle and Flamenco bags debut in tactile deerskin, vibrant knits, and metallic finishes, giving the collection an added dimension of luxury. The new textures and colorways elevate the bags into statement pieces that feel both timeless and new. The collection’s ready-to-wear offerings,  lavish coats, puffer bombers, and workwear jackets take center stage. Made from soft nappa calf leather and plush shearling, these outerwear pieces embody comfort and warmth, while maintaining sophistication.

This collaboration delivers sleek sensuality with fluid dresses and a festive version of the Petal Bow shoe. Shoes are reimagined in metallic calf and rhinestone finishes, adding a touch of glamour and sparkle perfect for special holiday moments. The Toy line heel also makes an appearance in the collection, with silver Nappa leather and modern, minimalist silhouettes that bring a cool, effortless edge to the festive wardrobe.
