Loro Piana Finds a Home Among Masterpieces

Fashion meets the celebrated art and architecture of the Menil Collection and the Rothko Chapel
Loro Piana presents an elegant dialogue between fashion, art, and architecture with its Fall/Winter 2026–27 advertising campaign. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, the campaign unfolds within the de Menil residence, home to the renowned Menil Collection in Houston. Founded by legendary patrons John and Dominique de Menil, the collection is celebrated for its exceptional holdings of modern and contemporary art.
“The synergy between the collection’s refined elegance and the timeless, art-filled environments created by John and Dominique de Menil was profound. It allowed us to capture a natural, unforced beauty, a quiet dialogue between the clothing and these spaces, that felt both intimate and expansive,” says Sorrenti.

Art and architecture exist in quiet harmony throughout the residence designed by architect Philip Johnson. Loro Piana’s latest collection enters that conversation, bringing together craftsmanship, imagery, and fashion while reflecting the cultural significance of each. The campaign extends this dialogue to the Rothko Chapel, another landmark where art, architecture, and contemplation converge.

Starring Sigrid de l’Épine and her husband, Jean-Charles Blais, alongside a cast of models, the campaign offers a contemplative portrait of culture through the lens of fashion. Beyond its visual campaigns, Loro Piana demonstrates its commitment to culture through its partnership with the Menil Collection and the Rothko Chapel, supporting the Opening Spaces initiative to help safeguard these renowned institutions for future generations.
