This season, Loro Piana’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection is not simply a presentation of fashion but an expedition across physical landscapes. This collection is a “horse riding quest” to recover the Way We Were. Void of nostalgia, this quest presented through each garment is mean’t to reinstil the timeliness of Loro Piana’s values.

The collection embarks with nodes to horseback riding on a journey through Argentina, the Scottish Highlands, and the plains of Australia and New Zealand. Each stitch, silhouette, and button harbors and exemplifies the essence of these regions. The collection is shaped by the philosophy that clothing should move with the wearer, adapting to body forms and the environment. Garments flow with organic materials represented in deeply intricate patterns and stripes that replicate the terrain of the lands that inspire the collection.

Equestrian influences weave into the details alongside structured jackets, elongated skirts, rich cashmere layers, and textural wool. These elements generate a dialogue that simulates affluence and functionality. Iconic silhouettes return to the stage in new and reconstructed ways, such as the Spagna jacket in a copped and pencil-length version.

By night, the collection transforms, as the evening wear line adopts a sense of fluidity through Silk Satin and Charmeuse. The evening wear combines seasonal themes and silhouettes with hats, shoes, and riding boots to complete the collection’s commitment to riding.

This season, Loro Piana emphasizes following the shapes, colors, and textures that envelop organic embodiment. With a strong placement on textural play within the collection, the brand uncovers Royal Lightness, a further expedition into the textile world. A light and sheen, yarn, silk, and Merino wool fabric developed in-house.

Beyond the textures of the garments, the hues tell a rich story of earth and nature. The burnished warmth of brown, dark maple, creamy cashmere, and soil tones create a palette with tonal depth and a timeless approach. “The colors and matter blend into a rich amalgamation of textures that include cheviot, cashmere, abaca, silk, cash melton, and merino wool.”

Through artisan softness and sensorial fabrics, Loro Piana preserves its dedication to timelessness and devotion to connecting clothing and life, distilling harmony with nature and creating a sense of being.
