Louis Vuitton And UNICEF Unveil Bracelets By Virgil Abloh

The latest accessory by the late artistic director reimagines his archive with proceeds aiding international affairs

Continuing in their fruitful partnership, Louis Vuitton and UNICEF have released a new collection of Silver Lockit bracelets designed by the late Virgil Abloh, a reimagining of his original launch two years prior.

Launched on April 1, the accessory, designed by Virgil Abloh—whose first collaboration with UNICEF launched in 2020—mirrors his signature motifs with new materials and colors: a bold chain meets silver padlock with a Louis Vuitton charm in natural or black titanium, with neon yellow, rainbow or black thick cord bracelets.

Proceeds from the collection support children in need with life-saving support in international humanitarian situations, aiding UNICEF in their response to emergencies and catastrophes worldwide. Louis Vuitton has raised upwards of $18 million since 2016 solely through Silver Lockit bracelet and pendant collections sales, with new interpretations launched annually to support the organization. For each Silver Lockit by Virgil Abloh sold, $100 will be donated to UNICEF.

Louis Vuitton has financially aided in emergency responses including the 2021 COVID-19 crisis in India, the 2020 explosion in Lebanon, and the unfolding conflict in Afghanistan. The Maison also assists UNICEF’s international aid programs following attacks, crises, and war spanning the past six years.
