Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama Release Star-Studded “Creating Infinity” Campaign
Justin Timberlake, Naomi Osaka, Hoyeon Jung, and more celebrate color
Drop 2 of Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama’s “Creating Infinity” collection features a star-studded campaign conceived by an all-star team. Available in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide on March 31st, Justin Timberlake, Naomi Osaka, Hoyeon Jung, Zhou Dongyu, Lea Seydoux, and Cate Blanchett model the latest release of this dynamite collaboration.
Louis Vuitton has been making waves in the fashion industry since the House’s conception in 1854. Staying true to its founder’s love for travel, the label is dedicated to the production of high-quality luggage, bags, and accessories. Melding “innovation with style,” Louis Vuitton has expanded its selection of luxury goods to shoes, ready-to-wear, watches, jewelry, and fragrance. In working closely with avant-garde Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, these two creative powerhouses have designed something truly imaginative.
While the first installment of Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama’s collaboration featured an interpretation of Kusama’s signature design, the Dots, photographer Steven Meisel captures the second drop releasing later this month. With creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi and styling by Carine Roitfeld, this vibrant campaign captures Kusama’s cheerful aesthetic.
In front of the camera, the multitude of aforementioned celebs are adorned in playful beauty looks by none other than legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath and renowned hairstylist Guido. Keeping every look fun, fresh, and of course colorful, McGrath toys with bright body paint while Guido tames each mane into a simple wind-swept ‘do. Featuring radiant designs that act as a muse for the stand-out beauty looks, this campaign is composed of Infinity Dots, playful pumpkins, eccentric florals, and that classic LV silhouette.
