Louis Vuitton has unveiled their new book titled From Louis to Vuitton. Published by Assouline and written by Arthur Dreyfus, with a foreword from the President and CEO of Louis Vuitton, Pietro Beccari, the comprehensive work offers an imaginative narrative on the history of the luxury house, from its inception to present day.

With a Damier-style case and vibrant yellow cover to reference the brand’s iconic saddle stitch, the book contains 320 images, 406 pages, and 54 standout words that embody the themes of the brand. A special edition trunk will also be available in limited quantities.

From Louis to Vuitton embodies the French house’s DNA with a fusion of innovation and tradition. The creative journey begins with the house’s founder, Louis Vuitton, and tells the story of his rise to prominence, from leaving his village, Anchay, at fourteen years old to becoming the biggest name in designer luggage.

The book also features a variety of Louis Vuitton stores from across the globe, highlighting their architectural prominence. Modes of transportation from land, sea, and air travel are recognized as well to symbolize the house’s dedication to its luggage craftsmanship. Artistic directors from throughout Louis Vuitton’s history are spotlighted as a celebration to the contributions they had made to the brand.
