Louis Vuitton has launched a new podcast entitled ‘Louis Vuitton [Extended]’, exclusively taking listeners on a fashion expedition with the visionaries that have helmed Louis Vuitton’s cultural history. French fashion journalist and documentary maker Loïc Prigent hosts the new podcast, engaging an imaginative deep dive into the world of Louis Vuitton.

Via ‘Louis Vuitton [Extended]’, listeners will get the chance to understand the creative minds of Nicolas Ghesquière, Creative Director of Women’s Collections; Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, Master Perfumer; and Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry. In addition, listeners will meet the many characters, including artists, designers, athletes, architects, and chefs who play a climactic role in some of the Maison’s most spectacular events and collaborations.

With a behind-the-scenes look at the coveted men’s and women’s fashion shows, as well as the many cultural projects from the house, this podcast is a must-hear for fans of the maison everywhere. The podcast is to be released bimonthly, with a 20 to 40-minute in-depth look into the creative process of Louis Vuitton.

In the first episode of Louis Vuitton [Extended], Loïc Prigent talks with Pharrell Williams about his first successful Men’s Fall/Winter Fashion Show as the new Men’s Creative Director for Louis Vuitton, previously helmed by the extraordinary Virgil Abloh. Pharrell provides a tell-all on the collection, revealing his sources of inspiration, the creation of the show on June 20, and much more. The episode also leads to an exclusive interview with Bishop Ezekiel Williams, Pharrell’s uncle, who guided the Voices on Fire choir that sounded off the show with their rhythmic tune “JOY (Unspeakable)”.
