Louis Vuitton for UNICEF presents the first Silver Lockit by Virgil Abloh

Launched in 2016, the silver lock-it was chosen as a symbol of keeping one’s promise in helping those at risk.

Continuing the historic partnership between French luxury house Louis Vuitton and humanitarian organization UNICEF, the Men’s Artistic Director of the French Maison, Virgil Abloh, has recently launched the Silver Lockit bracelet. Drawing inspiration from Abloh’s Spring-Summer 2020 collection, the new bracelet comes in four color-ways that are reminiscent of the ensembles that graced the runway. The piece features a thick, colorful cord that is connected to a sterling silver link with an engraved LV padlock.

Echoing the history of Vuitton’s philanthropic endeavors with UNICEF, the #MAKEAPROMISE campaign raises awareness and funds to support children around the globe, providing conflict and disaster-affected children with nutrition, access to clean water, education, health, and protection services. Launched in 2016, the silver lock-it was chosen as a symbol of keeping one’s promise in helping those at risk.
