Louis Vuitton Launches FW21 Shoe Collection Featuring Emma Chamberlain
Four new must-have fall styles are unveiled in a sunny campaign starring the Internet icon.
Hitting the pavement is akin to hitting the runway, in Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter 2021 shoe collection.
Elevated elegance is tempered with contemporary functionality in Nicolas Ghesquière’s latest designs—whether traipsing the concrete jungle or roaming the sunny avenues (à la it-girl Emma Chamberlain, who stars in Louis Vuitton’s shoe campaign), the luxury house is stepping into the season in style, with must-have boots and derby shoes.
Louis Vuitton’s signature excellence in leather craftsmanship comes through in the Patti boot, an edgy yet graceful style inspired by biker jackets. At once rebellious and romantic, the two-way zip boot features metallic studs engraved with the LV logo, alongside folded strap detail across the toe.
In an ankle boot style or a longer version, the Patti is every girl’s best shoe for fall; with jeans, trousers, a dress or skirt, the statement shoe encapsulates the poise of Louis Vuitton with the flair of the season. Punk and feminine, the wedged heel shoe is available in all-black or in color combination varieties.
The coveted Pillow boot style of last season makes a playful return in contrasting styles. The chunky silhouette with a feather filling and quilted ECONYL, a material made of 100% recycled nylon, gives the boot the comfort of a plush down jacket, while an inner socks made of stretch fabric holds the foot comfortably in place. The sustainable style comes in a trio of neutrals—sleek black, cool white and chic khaki—lined with recycled monogrammed nylon. For the chill of fall and the sharp winds of winter, the Pillow boot is a staple shoe.
Teetering between masculine and feminine is the LV Beaubourg derby shoe, a thick-platformed style that debuted in the fall/winter 2019 collection. With a chunky silhouette, the shoe is surprisingly lightweight, edged with white stitching on an LV monogram-patterned canvas lined with neoprene. Contemporary and comfortable, the stylish classic goes with any look for fall.
The final shoe of Louis Vuitton’s FW21 shoe collection is a reprise of the 2020 Cruise show, and a timeless autumn must-have: the perfect combat boot. The Metropolis epitomizes everything true to the beloved shoe: easy to pair with anything, the leather and black and white
Monogram-patterned jacquard velvet styles are rebellious and stylish, a hint of Louis Vuittton’s enduring grace lacing the boot, giving an urban edge to the couture classic.
