Louis Vuitton Pre Fall Is an ’80s Horror Buff’s Dream

With a star studded cast of models, the LV Pre Fall 2020 campaign is an ode to 80’s sci-fi horror films.

Inspired by William Peter Blatty’s 1971 cult novel The Exorcist, the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2020 campaign was vintage science fiction themed. Billie Lourd, Jennifer Connelly, Chloë Grace Moretz, Jaden Smith, Sophie Turner, and Emma Roberts send shivers down the spine on the faux movie posters and book covers that bring the campaign to life.

“To illustrate this collection–a term that works just as well with fashion as it does with literature or on the big screen–the House’s muses proudly take to book covers or film posters as protagonists, fitting perfectly into Louis Vuitton’s history and brilliantly embracing the role of adventurer,” Louis Vuitton said of the campaign.

Giving off a Stranger Things aura, the collection features plaid knee-length skirts, sharply tailored trench coats, intricately beaded slip dresses, and moon boots topped with color block stripes. It’s suffice to say that Louis Vuitton is bringing ’80s fashion back, but rightfully leaving scrunchies behind.
