Louis Vuitton Reveals Spring/Summer ’21 Collection

With ambiguous designs spanning the spectrum of gender and a palette of neutral tones, the French fashion house reimagines luxury.

What does a garment of in-betweens look like? One that is neither masculine nor feminine in its cut, but both, too; one that the universal wearer can feel and look good in?

Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2021 Collection walks this line, showcasing a new collection that stretches the spectrum of gender and expands all creative possibilities.

With the stylistically vague wardrobe, the French luxury fashion house sets forth on a journey of exploration, pushing traditional fashion boundaries and abolishing barriers of stereotype and social expectation. The SS21 collection finds escape within expression, venturing into a vast and neutral landscape with dots of color, giving it personality and character.

Ever elegant and practical, the Louis Vuitton collection does not stray from its fine quality and innovative designs as it steps into a realm of reflection and ambiguity. Unveiled by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere at Samaritaine in Paris, the collection is a creative line of harsh and bold cuts, cutting-edge prints and distinctive fabrics.

Standout pieces include a long sleeve ivory top with the word “VOTE” emblazoned in bright marigold across a pink stripe, a unisex shimmery silver suit, an all-white midi-trench coat with a chunky belt closure and new bags in signature Louis Vuitton shapes in a bold, bright slime green, giving a powerful dose of color to a landscape of neutral tones.
