The LV Buttersoft Sneaker, a classic Y2K-inspired silhouette, has been reimagined through an exclusive collaboration between Louis Vuitton Menswear Creative Director Pharrell Williams and House Ambassador j-hope, the multifaceted artist, dancer, rapper, producer, and BTS member.

Originally designed as a custom shoe for j-hope’s world tour, this latest iteration of the Buttersoft Sneaker fuses the effortless fluidity of a track runner with Louis Vuitton’s signature Italian leather craftsmanship.

Wide woven laces are adorned with a decorative Monogram cloche-clé and finished with the words “Your, My Hope,” a tribute to the artist’s stage name and his signature optimism. Paired with an ultra-soft calf suede upper in a bright rose-and-white colorway, the sneaker’s layered rubber outsole reflects his warm, energetic spirit.

Drawing from the design language of the Louis Vuitton Speedy P9 bag, a textile label appears beneath the tongue, while the exterior is finished with a leather patch embossed with the capsule’s exclusive logomark, combining the Louis Vuitton Paris stamp with j-hope’s signature. Signature leather accents on the heel and toe reference the hardware of the House’s iconic luggage and leather goods. Hidden beneath the heel’s enchape is a final detail for devoted fans: secret squirrel and acorn charms.
